• My name is tonya derrick. I’m from Searcy Arkansas and have been here all my life. I’m 43 years old with four children that I have raised here.
  After working in quality assurance at Walmart for 17 years I wanted a change in my life. I started school and graduated with a bachelor degree in business management. But when I came across this line of work it got my attention. I’ve now been a public notary for 8 months now. One reason I particularly enjoy this business, and the challenges that go along with it, is the opportunity to connect with people. I love meeting new people and helping anybody that needs assistance. My real strength is my attention to detail and accuracy. I pride myself on my reputation for following through and meeting deadlines. When I commit to doing something, I make sure it gets done, and on time. I’m a fast learner and enjoy learning new things so it gives me the knowledge of what I have a passion for. I love having the opportunity to work for myself and to expand in this line of work.
