Also do fiscal support and perform complex paraprofessional accounting work in the maintenance of financial, statistical and fiscal records. I supervised 10 to 31 staff members. I do scheduling for several functions such as pending, issuance, MED’s, supplies, Child Care, Security Guards, and mail room just to name a few. I oversee the staffs work for efficiency and clarity. Do their monthly and annual performance evaluations. Also do updates and adding staff in C-IV and the alarm system for the Employment Service Specialist, Eligibility Workers, WEX, and Clerical. I am back up for the Building Manager. I Also council staff on their goals, tardiness and sick time, set training schedules for staff, attend meetings biweekly, and conduct clerical meetings biweekly. Develop meeting agenda’s and minutes, I was chairperson over District Issues for a year, and I inform staff of updated material daily. I approve EMAC’s time, keep track of sick time usage, and inform staff when they are getting close to the 75% usage. I was the only Supervising Office Assistant for 4 months over 3 units 31 staff. Also helped oversee the construction on our building.

Complete all of the logs for Employment Resource Centers, prepare weekly reports for the Employment Resource Centers, create invoices for the vendors and keep track of their expenditures, process all accounts payable and Low Value (LV) payments, prepare transfers, Financial Accounting System (FAS) research, set up vendor codes, process E-Pro for payments and Cal-Card, monitor petty cash, bus passes, gas cards and gift cards.
