• Worked as a staff nurse and charge nurse for 5 years before being promoted to nurse manager of the unit. Performed in the role of nurse manager for 8 years.
• Directly supervised 45 nurses on a 29 bed med-surg unit, responsible for maintaining their competencies, scheduling, hiring, quality improvement on the unit and the day to day operations.
