Gear-Up Lead Success CoachFederal Grant: Gear-up is a counselor and coach to advise high school students on creating a career identity; postsecondary plans assist them in preparing academically and building persistence skills, among other resilience skills, to succeed in high school and after. I’m currently stationed at Nogales High School, working with the cohort of 2024. I provide mentorship programs in English, Science, and Math for students who need help in these subjects. I just launched the Gear-Up Club. This is an afterschool club for students wanting to learn more about mental health wellness and academic preparation for post-secondary.
